Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus. She is the youngest of five siblings. She has two younger brothers and sisters. The Miley's parents chose her in hopes they would have her succeed. Miley came to be her nickname in childhood. Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003), in which she played the role of a lesser-known character as a child, also had a great success. As of 2005, Cyrus was cast as the main character in the Disney Hannah Montana series. Hannah Montana (2006), which follows a teenager who lives two lives as a pop star. Her father appeared with her. It became an instant success that soon sold out tours were announced as well as merchandising agreements. Cyrus was a teen-sized star. After the huge success of Hannah Montana (2006), Cyrus began to move into other roles - including playing Ronnie Miller in The Last Song (2010) as well as Lola in LOL (2012) with Demi Moore.
